The Collect Mill of Kojima, Okayama produces some of the finest denims to grace the earth. Japan Blue uses this material, telling us that “Material is a key factor to determine the quality of jeans.”
Following the age-old tradition of artisanal denim-making, in 2010, the designer of Japan Blue Hiroki Kishimoto set out to do this for the modern costumer.
The result ultimately manifested itself in being jeans made in more modern, simpler cuts with the same quality fabric, focused on the weaving, the yard, the dyeing, the fabric itself. This result gives us, the realized dream of Kishimoto—a denim that people will wear every morning.
